How to book your physiotherapy with a health insurance policy
Navigating insurance policies can sometimes feel complex, but in fact, it only takes three steps to book treatment with us using your insurance policy:
- Step 1: Contact your insurer The first step is to speak with your provider. Explain your symptoms clearly and confirm that you are covered for physiotherapy. Crucially, you must ask them for an authorisation code and confirm the specific number of sessions they have approved for your course of treatment.
- Step 2: Check your policy details While on the phone or checking your documents, clarify if you have an excess to pay. It is also vital to check whether you need a GP referral; many modern policies no longer require this, but it is essential to check to avoid delays.
- Step 3: Book your appointment Once you have your authorisation code, contact us directly. We will take your policy details and authorisation number, then book your initial assessment to get your recovery started.

What if Recover Physio isn’t on my insurer’s suggested list?

Unfortunately, these options may not always be suitable, for example if those clinics are not conveniently located to suit your usual routine or other commitments.
